Day 2 was a down day, so I was aiming for 400 net. Of course, this is a ridiculously low number of calories compared to the 1100 I’m used to, so I had trouble keeping my snacking under control! The thing was, I never felt hungry–I just felt like putting food in my mouth. It’s quite sad how, 99% of the time, that’s my sole reason for eating. I’m hoping this low calorie experiment will help teach me more mindful eating: I should only be eating when I’m actually hungry. Not out of boredom!
Sadly I didn’t reach my goal thanks largely to some french fries that were brought home just for me: if someone brings me food, I always have to eat it. It’s a curse; people bringing food for me is one of my biggest downfalls. The other day, my boyfriend brought me half a loaf of banana bread, and I ATE THE WHOLE THING IN ONE DAY. Yes, I have a problem.
Anyways, to make up for the 150 cals over my day 2 goal, I’m going to try to eat 800 on day 3 instead of 1000 (I’m alternating between 1000 and 400 in an up-day-down-day pattern to average to 700 daily).
My friend is still missing, and it’s starting to look really bad. 😦
