Day 3 Food Diary (6/11)

The stress eating got me again.

I was doing just fine at 750 calories at 10pm, feeling all full and happy from all the delicious dishes I cooked all day, until I saw some news reports on my friend. It’s been 6 days, some in triple digit heat, and he’s still missing in the forest. I’m starting to imagine the worst.

I ended up eating 300 calories of brioche and chocolate hazelnut butter while having a panic attack over loved ones dying, followed by an existential crisis. So that puts me 260 over my set goal for the day (which was 800, to make up for the day before), and 60 over my usual up day goal.

Note to self: existential crises do not help with keeping up one’s diet plan motivation.

But, today is a new day, and I did manage to come up with 2 fantastic recipes for my arsenal (and cooking blog) yesterday, so it’s not all bad!

I’m also hoping to get back to the gym soon–my back and calf have been hurting for the last few days since something popped at the gym (followed by a massive headache/the feeling of an explosion in my head), so I’m trying to take it slow now.
