Day 26 was 4th of July! Considering it was a holiday and I was present at not one but two separate dinners, I feel like I did pretty well on not completely gorging myself. My bulk of calories for the day actually ended up coming from tortilla chips and my homemade guacamole… I’m always trying to have half an avocado a day (and hoping to increase that amount), so at least the snacking wasn’t a total loss.
I spent the day making a 4th themed brunch, making guacamole, going swimming, and sitting in on the first part of dinner, all with my family and some relative’s friends that came over. Then I proceeded to my boyfriend’s house where they had their dinner (and I ate even more chips and guacamole). We went to a friend’s house to watch fireworks and then party a bit, but I just decided to play water pong instead of drinking with the rest of them. I can’t afford even more empty calories, especially considering all the refined carbs I’ve been eating the last few days!
