Day 7 – 12/01
I was doing great all day with no cravings or desire to snack–it was my first day without them actually–but I went to a mostly-vegan Indian buffet at night since my friend and I had been planning to go for over a week. It was pretty healthy as far as restaurants go, but definitely involved oil and flour. Sometimes I have the worst timing.
I feel like I haven’t made progress on this experiment considering it’s already been a week–I’m struggling to just stick to simple foods despite my usual love of them. I feel like I shouldn’t even be calling it MWL yet because I haven’t been able to adhere to the guidelines yet. I’m sorry about that, but I’m trying my best and post my honest food diaries here even when I fail!
I got my probiotics, so I’ll keep you updated on how that affects my appetite–and I have a part 2 to my gut bacteria spiel if anyone’s interested.
Exercise: biked 30 mins, ran 2 miles and walked 8 miles (according to my new garmin… I don’t think that’s right, but its 13,000 steps!)
Breakfast:
- Baked pumpkin oatmeal (no chocolate chips this time!)
- Coldbrew coffee with soymilk
Lunch:
- Red potatoes with barbecue sauce
Dinner:
- Indian buffet: lentils, spinach, coconut curry, chickpea curry, naan, rice
