I finally did it! I stuck perfectly to my MWL guidelines as outlined in the first post–so, MWL with the addition of soymilk. I had a big appetite today but no cravings! 🙂
My mood, energy, and focus were way better than they have been lately too–which makes sense because carbs increase serotonin and fat/protein can hinder that process, but today I was definitely over 80% carbs and <10% fat!
And on that note, I realized that I don’t think I chose the best strategy for my goal of getting back to high carb intuitive eating: MWL is great and healthy and something I want to generally strive for, but too restrictive for now. So I’m going to go back and change my post titles and original post to reflect my updated goals, which are to generally eat high carb/starch solution and get more veggies and whatnot. Sorry if that causes confusion, but I want to try MWL for real in the future and don’t want searchers to get confused when they’re looking for an example of someone following it!

Well done. I’m very curious about intuitive eating. Been listening to podcast by Christy Harrison. Sounds very different than what I was taught. Thanks for sharing.
