Day 38 – 1/01
I’m addicted to date rolls. And it’s a good thing because they’re delicious, a great snack when on the go, and very high carb. Not to mention, Sprout’s had the pumpkin pie ones on clearance for 99 cents each, so I bought 10 boxes (aka the rest of their stock) since they’ll last til June. 😀

Exercise: walked 5.7 miles
Breakfast:
- 4 coconut date rolls and a pumpkin pie date roll
- Slice of toast with pumpkin butter
- Coldbrew coffee with soymilk
Lunch:
- Leftover yellow curry with rice
- 3 date rolls
Dinner:
- 3 red potatoes with hummus
- 3 date rolls
Day 39 – 1/02
Went on my last canyon walk of my visit to San Diego. Ever since my parents moved into this house when I was 4, it’s been my favorite place to go… I’m so lucky to have such a natural jewel just across the street. Especially now that I have a dog to appreciate it with!
On the food front, the random sampling of leftovers continues–the assortment of food I called lunch is almost comical, really. I’m trying to clean all my “weird vegan food” out of my parents’ fridge since I won’t be back for 6 months. 😛

Breakfast:
- Japanese sweet potato
- Coldbrew coffee with soymilk
Lunch:
- 4 chick’n taquitos
- 1.5 potato bagels
- Matcha tea
- Pellegrino
Dinner:
- Gardein BBQ hot pocket
- Slice of toast with almond butter

Yess they’re the best! I bought out the rest of Sprouts’ stock of them because they were 99c a box 😀
