Social media might be bad to use before/during workouts 😱 a study found that when people used social media for 30 mins (compared to watching a documentary) before lifting, they couldn’t lift as much weight… 15% less, to be exact.
(Recipe below!) Want to get more greens in your diet? (Or have a bunch of greens to use up?) 💚 Try this incredible & easy mixed greens “saag” tofu paneer! (#wfpb) You can use any mix of fresh or frozen kale, spinach, mustard greens, collards, other brassica green (radish turnip etc), or chard 🥬
Living my best #wfpb life 😋 Picked some snow peas, chijimisai, mizuna, radish (& their greens), + thai basil from the garden… then immediately turned them into a veggie teriyaki bowl by adding rice, tempeh, avo, carrots, & teriyaki sauce! 🥬
I always think making a new type of bread is going to be so difficult, and then it’s always so fun & easy 😆 (Except sourdough, which is tricky!) I had another pleasant surprise with trying to make this challah for the first time… I thought it’d be difficult, but it literally took about 15 mins of active prep time, and the braiding took like 10 seconds 😂
What I eat in a day for muscle building and fat loss—aka body recomp! 💪 high in protein and unprocessed plant foods, so it helps with clean muscle gain. But also intuitive eating so no tracking or counting or planning or restricting 🙅‍♀️
My favorite TGIF meal: this baked beans & greens mac n cheese bowl 🤤 all the decadence of comfort food, but also sneakily healthy with a cheese sauce made of veggies, and a big helping of garlicky lemon kale! 🥬 (Recipe link in story & bio)
