  1. Hi, Miche!
Yours is way up there on the list of blogs I follow, even though, ironically, much of what you talk about is of no potential value to me or, as it happens, to roughly 10% of the adult population in the U.S. — people with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
You might want to check on this: You ‘deviled potato’ dish sound scrumptious, but it is, in theory, all but totally off-limits to CKD sufferers. (Not that a some of us really ‘suffer’, but that’s another issue. It’s still a potentially fatal condition.)
The reason? Both potatoes and nuts — including, sadly, cashews, which I love — are on the steer-clear-of food list.
Does consuming those ‘unfavored’ foods have anything to do with why people develop kidney disease? ‘Might be worth looking into.
Here’s the best news, for you: Another stay-away-from for CKD folk is red meat. You’ve got that totally under control!
For what it’s worth, I think you do cool videos!

    1. Thank you for the kind words! I hadn’t realized that CKD was so prominent or that potatoes and nuts were off limits. However, I would say that what I talk about is in fact quite relevant to CKD sufferers: high carb diets–particularly Dr. Kempner’s rice diet–have been shown to improve kidney function considerably, even reversing kidney disease in some cases!
